focus ST170 engine light on p1537
hi all
i have a 03 plate focus ST170 and engine light has come on my mate has code read it for me and it read ( intake manifold control solenoid stuck open
) cleared the code and its off at the mo has any one had this fault befor

Quite common - there is a flap in the inlet controlled by a motor and wire that jams
|

control box on bulkhead with a cable coming out .That goes wrong

there is a part inside that the cable join's to that snaps you maybe able to repair found this on on the bay so you know what to look for hope

ill have a look for that on my engine not seen any thing like it befor
been out in it today and its stayed off so i dont no cars grrr
