ZR build

Hi guys.

Been building a ZR kit as a little weekend hobby really for going on some European journeys possibly track days. Would love some feed back on the build.

Ps mark and Colin have been the best, couldn't ask for anything more from them.

Hi
I have come a across your blog when searching Google looking for stuff for mine

Have you tried fitting your panel with fuel tank in place, had to modify mine as the fuel tank was like yours, sitying flush with rear chassis, so rear panel fouled on tank. Also there was no room to bolt/screw anything through back panel like number plate light etc.

Can your scuttle go forward a bit? As that gap from bonnet to scuttle looks too big for trim to finish it off tidy.

The fuel tank I have fits perfectly. The back panel doesn't come close to it luckily so no issue with fouling or a problem with fitting lights etc. has your tank got a sump or just a tiny nossel at the bottom??

Yeah I'm going to try and move the scuttle forward a bit, I think I took the pics before I moved the nose cone back a bit to but can't remember. How's your build going?

Hi.

The built looks good, keep up the nice work. Its nice to know people are still wanting the Pinto Engine.

I have just taken the Pinto out of my ZR and have a few bits that are up for sale.

I got the kit off of eBay at a bargain price with pretty much no work done to it and it came with the engine. Was going to sell it and get a new zetec but Mark and Colin suggested keeping it and I'm so glad they did. Have been able to completely strip the engine down, find out how it works and bring it back to new again.

My tank is sumped and baffled.
My back panel was cut when I got it,so thinking they haven't considered the fuel tank when cutting
