Mac#1 Worx ZX10R - Build thread

Hello boy and girls.

I thought I would let the mac#1 live on as there are a few posts on here of it by the old builder who sadly never finished it.

So this time last year I pick up a Gulf themed mac#1 zx10r from a cracking guy up in Hull.

Spec as follows:

Worx R chassis (gulf theme)
2008 zx10r motor
Gaz golds
Wilwoods all round
Quick rack
Healtech exhaust servo delete, speedo healer and gear shift indicator
Power commander
Team dynamics wheels

Its built to a good standard just not to mine so I've been pretty busy in the garage.

The car was wired but again just not to my standard, I have made a new braided loom from scratch and have had to make a few mods to the bike loom to make sure it doesn't draw to many amps and everything is fused and relayed correctly. Full keyless ignition and remote start too.

I also had some issues with some of the welds I've had to correct, not factory welds, just some additional brackets the where added as well as the reverse starter motor.

Here are some pics so far.

New carbon fibre prepreg dash from mk motor sport.

New braided loom i made and install a fused box

Reverse I need to sort out but not got that far just yet

I'm nearing completion on the wiring, just waiting on some more plugs.

Hope you like it.
