Emissions Fireblade
I'm looking at a Striker with a 919 Fireblade engine. Buildyear of 2004. It has a type approval with VOSA. On the V5C there is nothing stated
under exhaust emissions. On VOSA CO=N/A(written), HC=N/A. So nothing there aswell or does this mean 3.5% CO? What are the emissiondemands? Is the
engine post-1995?

Sounds like a smoke test to me. No standard on the book means the MOT tester has nothing to compare...
He may default to the 3.5 test or you can argue its a visual smoke test which is normally the case with Q reg vehicles.

The engine number would suggest its an RRP which is 1993 as Shilvers stated. However, that would make the engine an 893cc not a 919cc. The 919cc was
introduced 1995/1996.
Have you seen the engine and are you certain it's a 919cc?? The engines cc is cast into the block and quite easy to identify.
