I'd go (and did!) Mac1.

If nothing else they take credit cards over the phone and give lots of free advice.

Top gents!!

To even things up a little, the "new" indy is far superior IMHO.

And that's from some one who don't own either.
Best advice, visit both, there not that far apart and make your own mind up.

I think the only way to decide if your short list is down to those two kits is to visit both companys, they are both within a few miles of each other, have a ride in both cars, can only speak as a MK owner, but the new R chassis is superb, the new chassis is now out selling the old chassis, and the ZX10r being one of the most popular engine fitments at MK sportscars. Also MK sportscars have a trackday now each month at Bruntingthorpe, this allows customers chance to have a ride in both the old and new chassis, car and bec engined cars,to help people make up there mind, this will also give you the chance to speak to other MK owners about there cars.

nah dont worry about MNR

MAC#1 are having an open day next Saturday and MK are having on one Sunday so i believe.

Put saturday in your diary and then once youve been to see the best guys in the industry and signed on the dotted line because theres just no reason to look at anybody else you can spend Sunday safe in the knowledge that youve just made the best decision of your life and youve saved yourself a journey on the Sunday

I went with mac1 and have never regreted it. The guys are so helpful and the kit is great. I went to mk as well and they also seemed like great guys and the mk car looks good.

In the end it was just a gut feeling that mac1 would be best for me as I believed I would need a lot of help! They have been there every time I needed them.

Either way i am sure you will enjoy it.

Best of luck.

Just been on the phone to MK, they have heard nothing about such an open day.
- Ive had it in my diary for a month, and mentioned it might be on in another thead, but all seamly wrongly.
- However, they are about on the saturday, as i bealve they often are. So actually, you could do both in a day, and i might tag along with you!

If box section chassis are your bag either car will probably be excellent. Worth looking at round tube chassis in my humble opinion. Much stiffer for the weight!

The only round tube one is the MNR one? Or are there offerings from other companies too?

I've just noticed you're based in Iver! I take my daughter to school every day in Iver. I don't suppose there's a chance of a quick meet at some point so I can have a nose around the MNR when it's finished? I've never even see one in the flesh!

Hey Carpy,

Infant or Junior school? My son goes to the Junior school. Where abouts are you?

You're more than welcome to come and take a shufty at my build. Engines almost ready to drop in.

Yours, Clive.
