It's at least half the price.
However it is sold as an "Experimental System"
Therefore you should prepared to devote time instead of money.
I'm running it with reasonable success but still ironing out the problems.
Another point is that rolling road tuners are not yet familliar with the system.
Some haven't even heard of it.
However self tuning is fairly straightforward if you are prepared to devote the time.

as he said really, if you got tons of spare cash then emerald, dta or omex would be the way to go, if you don't mind putting the time in to save cash, the M/Squirt is the one.

dunno aboutt he others, but megasqirt is an open source project - you can get access to the code and hardware details and modify it yourself plus there is a big base of peeps who can advise/help.

(it is the way I would go).

Building my megasquirt and converting to GSXR throttle bodies has taken me ages, but its been very rewarding, as rewarding and as interesting as building the car.

I wouldn't be surprised if I have spent over 100 hours reading, building, tunning and converting my car to megasquirt fuel injection on GSXR throttle bodies.

Now I have the megasquirt its just a small step to running a supercharger.
