Sierra steering column length still needed!!!!!

Can anyone measure a 'standard' Sierra column for me (from where it joins the rack to where it the steering wheel attaches) and let me know the total length please?

Thanks

JC

i'm confused.

is that the column, or the track rod length you want?

i can't offer measurements at the min, but some clarification might help others reply.

Bother, I was hoping that it was a bit longer than that so I could use one without modification on my Middy.

Thanks Rich

Could you not lengthen it? Its straight so could be cut and sleeved. Let me know if you want a photo as I can take one of it to give you a better idea.

Looks like my first attempt at attaching a photo failed. Will try again but if this fails will need help or could email it to you.

Perfect. Thanks very much for persisting with it! Looks like when I add the downlink it will be just the right size. Of course, I planned this............
