Ht leads problem .
nick-york - 23/10/17 at 10:19 PM

I'm trying to get a new set of ht leads for my 7 but it's not very easy ! I've tried at Andrew pages and they thought they had ordered the right ones but when they arrived the longest lead was about 3 inches too short ! I 've seen lots of various ones on eBay but they say they are for certain models of certain cars without giving any lengths of the leads .I don't really want to be messaging them all for the lengths of the leads ! I was wondering what other people used and an easy way of ordering the right ones .maybe a product code or car and model .I have a 2 litre pinto with a bosh distributer. Hope this helps .cheers .

https://www.ebay.com/usr/mr-retro-leads-plugs?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

They may be able to help, and magnecor make custom lengths.

But seems odd if yours is a std setup? From a sierra?? Should be available correct off the shelf. You may find some OEM on good old fleabay...

Hi

You might want to try:
http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-fitment-type/parts-by-engine-ford/ford-sohc-pinto.html?product_area=594&product_group=274

Or racing car suppliers such as Merlin Motorsport:

Cheers

Thanks for all the help .I was going to order some from Mr retro leads but a friend of mine said try Electropart down fourth avenue in York. Well they don't have a website ! They don't take payment from credit or debit cards but after a ten minute search they had the right set of ht leads for me ! Very happy ! Fitted perfectly !
