Most people only fit them to pass the IVA,then remove them.

In all honesty they are a waste of time, they will only move the car on flat,or slight inclines.

Over 4 years of running my BEC the couole of times I needed a reverse, meeting tractors down lanes etc,I couldn't use it as the road was not flat!
So still had to get out and push it

Thanks! I have to fit one as I do hill climb with it! The championship im doing next year says I have to have a reverse.

Ah that's a pain, will they check it works?

It's not a easy fitment if your chassis doesn't have the mounting points welded on already.

Yeah they will check it! I don't mind fitting it if there's somone who does a kit that will fit the freelander diff flange?

Getting a flange made is probably the easiest part tbh!

Getting a motor mounted to the chassis is the hardest job, moving fuel/brake pipes etc to weld on brackets.

Westgarage used to do a kit that fitted on the engine for FE/RWD bike engine setups.
May be worth an email? https://chaindrivediff.co.uk/product-category/other-products/electric-reverse-units/
