Zetec Silver Top coil pack mounting

Is it ok to mount the coil pack on my Silver Top to the bulk head rather than on the cylinder head.
I am trying to reroute my cooling pipework and the coil pack is in the way.

No downsides at all. Except new leads (probably)

I made my own bracket as the previous one fouled the bulkhead. Ensure it has a good electrical connection to the block and all will be well.

Yep, it`s fine, I`ve done this on a previous engine. I just needed to buy longer HT leads due to the longer distance they had to cover.

I made a bracket under the inlet manifold that has worked fine as this seemed like an area that would more likely stay cool(er).
Still needed longer leads though
