2cv alternator
saw 1 today ,it has a seperate reg but is very small and only 2 wires needed,so if you can put up with having something french on yr car looks the way
to go.

Was planning a trip to the scrappie for a Mitsubishi alternator, saw your post and got a 2CV alternator. Wins hands down on size. Do you have any
regulators?

I take it the pulley is the correct size/taper? Or does it need changing?

James, the pulley looks fine to me. After "adjusting" the mount, it fits quite nicely.
