2cv alternator

well, i've aquired me a 2cv alternator now, but just double checking the wiring

tis marked
14V 30W

and



i figure + goes to battery positive.

but i'm not sure if EX is earth, or something else.

then there's the matter of a little blue/white wire that went from carb to alternator..

xe goes to the regulater,ask donut/deckman how the reg wires up

The little blue and white wire from alternator to carb is I believe a six volt supply to the autochoke and a manual choke conversion for the electricaly challenged like me is easiest. Your friendly alternator man can tap it out if you cross his palm with silver. I would like to know how.

Wasn't the 2CV 6 volt ? or I am thinking of the Renault 4 ?

Neither, they were both 12v after 1964. you are thinking lawn mowers!
