Tom Tom problem

I've got a Tom Tom (I know, we've all got our problems.....)

I was trying to find a street in St Annes earlier today, tried to find it by the 'address' option - typed in 'st annes' and selected it, then typed in 'Boston rd' and it flatly refused to find it - even though its a big street. Came home, and tried it on Google maps, - no problem - it even gave the postcode - typed that into the Tom and it found it instantly! Stupid machine.....or is it a stupid owner?

Ah - might have found the problem:

Tom has several options for St. Annes:

Saint Annes (Lytham St. Annes)
Lytham St.Annes
St. Annes Park
Moss Side (Lytham St. Annes)

I was selecting the top one - Saint Annes (Lytham St. Annes) which obviously was the wrong 'branch of the search tree'
when I selected the one below that, it brought up the street I wanted pretty rapidly.

Technology, Eh?
