duratec water flow

Hi
Could anyone tell me which way water flows around the duratec 2.0 engine

Just like it does in every engine ever made.

The water heats up and exits via the head to the top hose of the radiator. The water cools in the radiators and exits via the bottom hose and enters the engine again normally via the water pump.

Simples.

ok thanks that's what i guessed at, but we found a restrictor in the inlet to the pump on the sports 2000 car we run, and i think restrictors normaly would be on the outlet from the head rather than inlet to the pump

def a restrictor penny washer welded into 10mm of pipe hole about the size of a 5p just stuffed into a rubber hose onto the pump inlet
