Can't edit

I have recently posted some tyres for sale and wanted to edit the price, but there is no edit button on the listing.

I commented below with the new price (and I can edit that post) but if someone just looks on and sees the original price, they wont know the price has been dropped.

Can anyone help out?

Editing option disappears after a few minutes to stop people from editing normal posts and changing stories etc.

I wonder if its something that admin can amend - just for classified posts to allow OP editing.
