they tend to be all the same pin arrangement on the 60 pin ECU's
check that yours matches......
the numbers with nothing written there is an unused pin.
also look at the fitting the zetec on standard ecu as a sticky on the fuel injection heading....the 60 pin is covered in the 104 pin stuff

The wiring for the 60 pin ECU's is listed here.

I want to strip the loom back to basic to run 1.3 Endura. can you tell me what wires i need to keep in order to make the car run but not have all the birds nest. I know you need the key and key reader or ya got no chance lol..

I have enclosed a video link and some pictures for attention.

The post to the article I wrote for my club mag gives you all you need. You do need the key to match the ecu.

All of the ecu earth's need to be made and it's best for them not all to the same place.

I have narrowed it down to what i dont need, In your write up it says u need about 11 connections.
could you possibly confirm what connections these are to compare to my list.

Also you only have 3 injectors listed, is that correct? and unless i have missed it, what pin number do i need for the key reader?

sorry about all the questions.

you dont need the PAS or A/C but you may need to earth out the wires (or not) give your self the choice some ECU's need to have them earthed out to keep the idle steady.
like wise the EGR and fuel vapour purge valve and crankcase breathers (vent to atmosphere via catch tank) all are bin fodder.
you need the air flow sensor the throttle body the temp sensor is behind the alternator you need that, it controls everything on the Focus (ecu, temp gauge and cooling fan) then there is the cam position sensor, oil pressure switch, and crank sensor. last of all you need the first lambda (green plug) the second (purple plug) is only needed if you keep the cat.
if you reuse the ford injectors they come with most of the engine sensors your keeping on its loom you will just have to extend the wires for the TPS and AFS
letting the ECU control the cooling fan is simplicity its self. the ford cooling fan relay is just a high power standard relay with an extra terminal (numbered 7) this pin connects to earth, its for an anti spike diode.....when the fan switches off it will send a large voltage back to the ECU unless the diode is fitted, (this can destroy the ECU if not fitted.) the ECU switches on the fan by earthing it via pin 13 (ECU)
ooh dont forget the idle control valve...it need to get its air supply from between the TPS and the AFS, the ECU need to get a signal from the AFS to keep the car running
