7" and 7,5" differentials - vLSD interchangable?

Hi!

I have a 3,62 7" Sierra Differential with vLSD.
Wanted the same but with 3,92.
I have found a Scorpio 7,5 diff 3,92 , non-LSD.

I know the CWP is not interchangable from 7,5 to 7 type.

Wonder maybe vLSD is possible to take from 7" 3,62 and install in this 7,5 3,92?

Sorry might nbe obvious for You, bu I have never had a 7,5 differential in hands.

Wonder if 7 or 7,5 is the crown diameter, then visco is propably also different as it is bolted to crown i assume. but maybe ?

The 7" Vs 7.5" refers to the case width I think but the crowns can't be swapped. This would suggest that you can't put you vLSD 7" into your 7.5".

BTW 3.92 7" are common so just get one of those. I have one spare in my garage as moved to a 4.27.

Thank You! That's what i was affraid of.

Searching for 3.9 in 7 case but cant find there. All I have found for sale nie here are 3.62. I AM from Poland so sources from UK are not locost after brexit adding taxes and shipping. Just found 3.92 cheap here but 7.5 , so my question.
Seems have to look further.

Will look at it, but prefer something near by so I can take in hands before buy etc.

There's a cheap 3.92 7" diff on Facebook in Scotland: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1258222698297199/?hoisted=false&ref=saved&referral_code=null

I also have a spare one, but the CW&P is damaged from corrosion.

For sure was not so popular as 3,62 so that is why I ask if is is possible to take vLSD from 7" to 7,5" (7,5 3,92 I have near to buy in good price, good condition. Looks like the case mounting points will fit for Westfield, but still dont know for sure if vLSD from 7 will fit to 7,5 :-/ differences in flanges no problem as I know, possible to swap. But this vLSD ...
