Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Steve,

Glad you're ok which is the main thing!

If it helps, look at it this way- you get a chance to redo some bits you may not have been 100% happy with the first time!
And with any luck- the insurance will pay for them too!

Good Luck,

James

But then i don't suppose the insurance will be chipping in as it happened on private land

Cheers

Chris

Chris,

Were you there??? Was it your lorry?

Only ask as you seem to know loads that Steve didn't post!

Private land is a popular misconception, if the lorry driver was negligent and you can prove it/he admits blame, they should pay up.

If you need any advice (insurance assessor!), drop me a U2u

Well Steve did ring me with the details!

It happened in his works yard and the lorry was parked there as part of the furniture if you like. i.e no one else was involved - no other driver.

Cheers

Chris
