Cooling Fan Probe Location ?

Afternoon All,

Just a quick one, but where is the best location in the ZETEC cooling pipework for the fan probe to be located ?
I was thinking near to the water pump inlet to the engine ? Any advice really welcome .

Many Thanks

Normally the out / hot side of the the engine.

So thermostat housing, in the top hose or the hot side of the radiator.
