Zetec or st170 tentioner ? Again ..

Some may remember my last post regarding cam belt pulleys .

The two pulleys are different i have 2 used ones a zetec one (Made In Germany) and the st170 one (Made In Canada)

So as there different i assume i get a st170 one correct for the engine.
I then noticed Silky16v's st170 motor on here is fitted with a zetec tentioner/pulley shown in below thread so it works (I have also seen st170's with a zetec pulley )

http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=175158&page=1

And here is a ST170 original one fitted in below thread

http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthread.php?t=137130

Is this just a case of different designs ? the Canada one seems to have a few more bits and is 11g heavier .. But the zetecs made in Germany so i assume the quality's better no ? Both seem prone to failing if you Google it just want to get the better of the two ..

Zetec ones £29.21 including vat from burton power the st170 one is £60 odd plus vat from ford parts no one else seems to have them . Burton power told me they had no other tentioner listed for the st170 .

All pulleys are the same for blacktop based zetecs. I've had both an st170 and regular blacktop. This pully is what you need, exactly the same as a genuine ford item but without the price tag.

I may be being dense but I can't see the difference between the tensioners? Both look like mine?
