trailer and towed kit insurance
I'm trying to get a trailer to take the Tiger to races. Does anybody have any idea how to insure the Tiger while it's being towed? My
car insurance and 2Gether both say "no".
Thanks
Ed

Usualy, a trailer is covered by the cars insurance, but that is usually small camping trailers. A large trailer, especially with a car on, needs extra
cover.

When I bought my trailer last year I rang my broker and asked, they said it's covered on tow car policy.
Edit
May vary between insurers, ring them and check

I think you will find that the trailer is covered by the tow car policy only when attached to the car. Only the trailer is covered not the load. If
it were to be stolen from your house it would not be covered.
I have my trailer insured seperately with the load insured up to an agreed value. This was not too expensive.
If the car on the trailer was insured it may be covered by its own insurance. Worth a call to you insurers I would think.

Usually the tow car's insurance covers the trailer, but only third party - the trailer and its load are not covered for any damage or loss to
them.
