sierra 1.6 pinto.
hi guys i have a sierra wich i have striped as my doner, running gear etc. It has a 1.6 pinto engine runs nice not smokey at all but am going the
zetec route as i already have a silver top1.8 16v wich iv rebuilt. is it werth me getting the engine out? what would it sell for with ancillaries and
everything and is any1 intrested? cheers guys.

I sold my 1.6 Pinto for a crate of beer, way back when I started my build.
With inflation, I think at least a crate of beer and some crisps.

I think you'll find beer and crisps have gone up (due to inflation) more than pintos so technically it might be a crate of beer that's
rapidly approaching it's sell-by date.

if nothing else alot of the bolt-on bits are the same as 2.0 ones - so some one is bound to want some bits and bobs off it
(dizzy's can be worth a couple of £ if they are the right kind and so on....)
I think I might need a decent rocker cover at some point
