Zetec idler pulley

In the process of fitting a Zetec blacktop to my Mojo, I'm in need of a ribbed idler pulley to get a belt run that drives the waterpump the correct way. I think most blacktops have them, unfortunately my new engine didn't come with any fitted.

Anyone got a spare?

I don't think it's a standard fit unfortunately, so you'll need to make something up. Well I hope it's not, as I spent ages making a copy of the triangle shaped bracket seen here http://www.retro-ford.co.uk/shop/content/zetec-alternator-kit-–-black-top-z022 out of 6mm steel with hand tools!

I'm using a transit idler for mine. It's from a mk6 TDCI, 70mm diameter. According to GSF online it's £18 for a shiny new one- tell them where you work and you'll get trade prices so should come down. My alternator is going to be on the intake side a la retro ford. I'm using a plain idler that was fitted to the cam belt cover on some mk1 Focus' (again 70mm diameter) to get the belt over there rather than going over the top of the E-W engine mount location. You may already have this one? I don't have any spares for either though, sorry.

Thanks, I realised I'd need to make up a bracket, have got hold of a PAS bracket as a base, a further bracket off this should give me a mount in about the right place, so just need the actual pulley.

<£18 from GSF sounds ok...
