Driving on L plates on insurance for another car?

More a hypothetical but for the first time in my life I have insurance that says I can drive other peoples cars third party and it got me wondering. I have an auto Lisence due to medical reason that I'd want to be retested for if I was to actually get a full lisence, so could I drive my fathers car as a learner on my insurance?

As I say, I'm not really planning on doing so, if I was I'd talk to the insurance company but what are the thoughts mon this?

That's one for your insurance company and your dads to comment on
Get it wrong, you loose your licence and your dad is uninsured and takes the full loss plus any personal injury claim
If it was me I'd find out for sure and have it in writing

I'm pretty sure you mean lose not loose.

Of course you are correct, check with insurance company before doing anything like this.

I would expect there to be a clause about learning drivers.. but worth checking

I think the bit about driving other people's cars is intended for emergencies only/
