I think it all depends on individual circumstances, but make sure you try Frank Pickles.

They are chancing their arm as all insurers do. Ring around, get some quotes then tell flux you have cheaper quotes, I guess they will then match your cheaper quotes.

For me personally insurance companies get one chance. If I get a cheaper quote elsewhere then I go, they should try and keep customers not rip them off. Just all imho obviously

Frank Pickles was good for me. There may be some that are £ 10 or so cheaper but their service is top rate.

I wish insurance brokers would just charge customers a set transaction fee rather than making commision on the premium like they do now. it would keep them honest and improve their industry.

Brokers must just love it everytime someone renews without shopping around - rather than there being any incentive for them to find the best deal for existing customers they are actually incentivised to keep the premium as high as they think they can get away with.

Insurance costs also seem to vary month to month, I left mine on my bike and got it £20 cheaper from the same local broker.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
