Recommend or suggest an insurance company...

The Owellys current fleet includes:
Mrs O's Espace insured for business use.
Thambulance insured as a self-built motorhome with limited mileage.
My Audi A4 as my daily hack.
Kit car which has been insured for the past 8 years but only done 9 road miles!

This lot costs me around £1100! I've tried the usual 'multi-car' policies but they can't cover the different sort of vehicles we have. A few years ago, I looked into getting a traders policy and found a few that didn't need me to be an actual business, but they wouldn't cover a Q-plate or cover the Espace for a non-motor trade business.

I currently have the kit, Thambulance and Audi insured with 2gether and they claim they have given me a discount for loyalty but the premium is pretty similar to having three individual policies from the comparison sites. I only went with 2gether as they have all my details and could shuffle my NCD around to find their cheapest quote.

The kit, Thambulance and Audi are all approaching renewal so now is the time to try to save a few quid!

Any suggestions?

Slightly different but same in a way, our business just doesn't seem to fit into any "online" providers slots and had real problems getting cover.

I walked into our local insurance shop, sat down with a real person and within 1/2 an hour we had cover for everything at better prices than we could get online, the personal face to face approach solved our problems.

Worth a try.

Even further off topic you camping tonight ?

2 peoples 4 cars , Kit, 4x4, Jag, Porsche soon.
Problem seems to be that multi car policys dont cover kits
The jag provider wont cover a 4x4 and so it goes on.
Where the ANY vehicle policy these days?
Watches with interest…..

I'll try the brokers office thing but it's never yielded good results before!

As for camping: it depends on several things. We'd be in tents as thambulance is out of service. Can I be arsed with a tent?!
I've just finished a string of 12hr nightshifts and my car needs to be ressurected and a radiator fitting. If I can have a kip, get the car ready and get to Blyton in good time, we'll be camping. If not, it'll be a 5am kick off..... And it's pissing down here.
