December birthday's aren't easy.

My oldest son's (13 this year) birthday is Christmas Day. We've started doing a birthday for for him in June instead to try and spread things out a bit.

After snow and world peace we come to material goods!
I have put out hints for some books such as bikers Britain that details decent driving roads all over UK, the North Coast 500 guide book as we should be back up there before too long, the Viz Piemans wig annual and also The Private Eye annual
Also a massive scale road atlas to check journey before starting off as my old one is missing a few roads and bypasses
Not a particularly imaginative list but at least it’s all useful stuff and gets round the hat gloves and socks issues!!

My Christmas present to myself is sitting on the engine stand waiting for the cylinder head to come back.

I suggest you get yourself a digital protractor/ angle finder. Great piece of kit. I set up the cams on a Lotus twincam
using one (with a proper protractor to check, of course).
It checked out perfect every time.
I'll set the cams on my new engine using digital only.

My Birthday is in Dec, I have a big one this year. Present should be a flight experience in a Harvard plane at Compton Abbas airfield, it's a WWII training plane for spitfire pilots I believe, with huge radial engine......should be fun!

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Since my birthdays in October I didn't know wether to buy myself a Birthday/Christmas pressie or a Christmas/Birthday pressie.

My poor old back had the casting vote.

Hi Paul. ^^^^ Is that part of an Elan chassis or Spyder maybe? It looks a lot like the central part of the chassis on my car, a Spyder Silverstone.

Well done for spotting that. It is indeed an Elan chassis.

I also have a December birthday. 😁😁
My list would comprise of zx10r headers, prop adapter and a very clever fellow who's good with auto electrics.

Better not forget the socks. 👍👍
