They must be some tyre now those R888's they add tread depth as you use them, as they only come with 5mm tread when new

Digimon - 28/4/16 at 04:22 PM

That's strange, I did avoid the pickup from the track as well.

I'll say that are almost new then lol

bi22le - 28/4/16 at 06:39 PM

Joking aside i found tyres last for ever on these cars.

My R888 had about 10 trackdays put on them before i decided that they had started to go hard and had to many heat cycles put through them.

I now have them as my spares as they are still better than normal road tyres.

Could you find the offset out?

It'll be stamped on the inside of the rim

IIRC they quote 5mm, but when you measure they almost always have 6mm.

That's good to know, I have remeasured them avoiding the pickup and it is right what I've written down. I thought I was going mad lol

Sorry to be picky D, but could you measure the distance from the inner rim to the face that bolts on to the hub for me, so I can compare it to mine?

cheers

Hi Mash,

Yes sure I'll measure this for you this evening

Digimon - 23/6/16 at 07:40 PM

Hi Mash,

They measure 130mm from the outside to the inner face of the wheel, hope this helps

Simon

Mash - 23/6/16 at 07:55 PM

Sounds fairly good to me D.

Can't get at the car right now, but will measure up in the morning and get back to you.

Mike

Mash - 24/6/16 at 08:49 AM

Sorry D, measured up my existing wheels, and they are only 50 mm, so this would mean the new outide edge would 67.5 mm further out which is too far to adjust for.

Gutted

Digimon - 24/6/16 at 08:54 AM

Hi Mike,

That's a shame, thanks for getting back to me tho
