Track Day Boots
Gwg555 - 28/6/17 at 08:19 PM

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend anywhere to buy some decent track day boots?

I've just karting boots in the past, but they do not tend to last very long.

Thanks,

Hmmm - not sure this is the reply you want. I have a nice pair of DeWalt steel toe capped boots I use - no I am not joking - my car has been built with loads of room and I can drive it wearing anything. I do use trainers occasionally though, HiTec something or others.
Don't suppose I have helped much - oh dear ;-)

If you don't want to get ripped off paying for Sparco etc labels get yourself to Sports Direct and buy some of the Lonsdale boxing style trainers/boots

Basically the same shape as 'proper' car footwear but at a reasonable price

Like those above I find ideal, nice and narrow for tight pedal areas and a nice heel grip

As said I got some boxing narrow boots much cheaper

I have these Kart BOOTS BLACK BLUE RED all ADULT Sizes Rotax TKM Pro Kart Autograss Banger
Done around 4000 road miles, although I find that walking around is wearing them out, will need a new pair soon.
