Lydden is ok. It is short, and the facilities are basic.

Cheap though, last time I went a load of people in mk3 golfs turned up, they kept on racing, breaking trackday rules, and going off circuit. I vowed to stick to proper circuits that day on.

I disagree, the beauty of Lydden Hill is that it is back to basics,, few rules and regulations. There is always a fun atmosphere, no one takes it too seriously, I have sprinted and been to track days there for far too many years to remember without any problems. Every season you see many improvements to the circuit with Pat Doiran in control. If you've not been there, have a go I think your be surprised.

For those of you into Rally X whatever you do do not miss this years World Rally X, its the most spectacular meeting anywhere in Europe.

^^^

I have a a few very enjoyable days at Lydden, it's not overburdened with rules so you can throughly enjoy yourself, it's not pretty if you fall off as no escape from the barriers.

Great fun dashing down the hill and turning right at speed, it's really Brands Indy in reverse.

There is nothing wrong with basic, you should see my car!!

I was just surprised, and a little annoyed that people were being stupid on track. Cutting corners so chucking stones onto the track. I watched from behind as two of them under \ over took a mini at the same time. Thats just stupid.

Lydden as a circuit is fine, maybe I just had a bad experience with the drivers. You can get idiots at any track.
