Wanted Engine and gearbox for Anglia project.

I need an engine and box to fit an Anglia 105E. I would ideally like a Zetec 1.8 or 2.0l but willing to look at crossflow or Toyota engines. A type 9 box or 2000e would be considered. Let know what you have. I live in Macclesfield South Manchester.
Willing to travel to collect. Many thanks Henry.

Zetec will fit in the engine bay without bulkhead mids, kits out there for mounting it. It is tight but do able. Exhausts also available. Type 9 box needs some minor surgery on the tunnel. Either replace or if you search there is a mod to just cut a slit in it, move it a bit and fill the gap, looks more stock. Look for Milton (not cheap but fits first time plus will get your money back if you sell) and 105speed for exhausts (aka Neil McCarthy) I would also sign up for the Facebook 105e owners page, lots of knowledgeable people on the anglia wise.

If you fit a new tunnel then the Mazda rx8 6 speed box comes into play with an adaptor plate.

You could go st170 and fit a me100 ecu and bike carbs, kits available from danst. The me100 is a knobbled me212 with the injection disabled, this has full vct control in it and can be upgraded to me212 if you go injection for a firmware update and a few £.

Need to post pictures, it’s the law!
