Rear view mirror, dash/scuttle mounted.

Hello. I am looking for a rear view mirror to use on a car without a windscreen, so it will need to be the type that mounts to the dash board or on top of the scuttle. It must be IVA compliant. If anyone has something suitable that they would be prepared to sell than please let me know. Thank you.

I don't have one for sale, but I did the same as you describe on my MK Indy. I re-used the Sierra rear view mirror held in place with 2x dome head M5 Allen bolts.

Thanks for that Nick, good idea. Did the IVA inspector have any issues with it, particularly relating to contactable edges?

IVA was fine. I figured it would since the mirror had come out of the Sierra and I used dome head Allen bolts to fix it.

Good point, thanks for that Nick. Also, I would guess that having the aero screen means that the rear parts of the mirror are not contactable.

Hi chris-g,

I didn't have the aeroscreen fitted for the SVA test...
