Locost for sale
GeoffT - 19/6/15 at 10:38 AM

Reluctantly the time has come to sell the '7', I've had it 11 years now and it's time to pass it on to someone who will use it more than I have of late. It's pretty much a book build car, SVA'd in 2004 and has an age related plate. A little wear and tear in places but still a very presentable vehicle, you'll find more pics in my photo archive in 'Locost sale pics'. Spec is:-

1.8 k-series with 38mm gsxr throttle bodies.
Megasquirt 2 with lc1 wideband.
Escort axle with 3.54 diff, disc brake conversion.
Ford V6 (long ratios) type 9 gearbox.
Peugeot 1.9 GTi wheels with Toyo 888's.
Gaz adjustable shocks all round.
Acewell speedo.
Heater and demister.
Weathergear including doors and a partial hood.
Inertia reel seatbelts.
Bootbox with secure lockable lid.
MOT'd till May 2016.

...the hood is just a lightweight job that I cobbled up as a 'get you home in the dry' item, all its parts stow in the bootbox when not required. It quickly became a permanent fixture during the winter months though, and keeps the cockpit warm even in sub-zero temps. The sale will also include a few spare parts (nosecone, front wing, windscreen glass etc, etc). Looking for £3500.

You'll find some more photos in my archive under 'Locost sale pics' Please u2u me if you need any further info/contact.

Geoff.

Hi Geoff

Any news ?

If the weathers good this Sunday i will attend the Hanworth classic car show at Bushey park (Hampton Court end entrance)
Could be a good place to advertise the car.
