How much cash waiting might give people an idea of what you are looking for.

I was going to mention it on here the a week or so back but didnt find time.
There is good fluidity in the 2nd hand kit car market at the moment. Plenty on here being brought and sold.
As an owner of a Striker myself, I take particular pride in the buzz around JPSC and the high regard held for Strikers.
I certainly think mine punches above its weight ( read as value!)
Good luck for the hunt. It was a post just like this approx 5 years ago that nagged me the 4age 20v striker I am still using.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Well that IS the question.....
I started on a 5k budget, that then quickly crept up to nearer 6k.... Which is the price of one I have been looking at recently. It's pretty
standard (car engine) but clean....
I'm now thinking I may look at getting one that has already had some engine work done. I'm no mechanic but enjoy making it cosmetically
'bling'....
If the right one came up that already has the usual engine mods I'd go see the bank manager and squeeze up to 8k...
The striker is appealing not just for style but because it's small too.
Not mega bucks (well it is to me) but hopefully enough to purchase something nice. I really want to get something now so I can tinker over the winter
months...

So you have £8K for a nice Striker with a 2lt CEC with around 200BHP and a decent gearbox?
