Woodruff key needed

Can anyone out there help. I have a obtained a lucas LRA 00100 alternator for a 1800cc BMC engine, but dont have the woodruff key to hold the fan and pulley in place. Can anyone advise of the size of the key needed, or where I can obtain the answer from

Why not just stick you radius gauges in the slot in the shaft, until you get a match and make one?

On my old BSA, I found a washer that had the same radius and cut it to make a snug fitting woodruff key
