It's all one loom, removing it all

Made alot more progress last night and today. It's nice just working away myself in the garage.

Removed the gearbox
Removed the prop
Removed the dash and gauges
Removed the carbon wind deflector
Removed the seats
Removed the Steering column

Need to remove the fuel pump then start taking the arms off, body off etc

So easy to work on, I mind my Escort Cossy was a nightmare to work on due to space, same with the Evo aswell. Not bashed my knuckles yet.

Going to pick my cradle up and drop my ZX9 loom off at SKC this weekend, will also order up my prop and gear change kit.

Thanks mate.

Well I have been working away at this but not updated it.

Engine mounts have been tacked in and the cradle drilled to suit.
Need a couple of longer bolts for the bottom.
Manifold has been mounted just need to jiggle it about.

Getting there

Getting there...

Hey, sounds like you're getting things done.

You'll just be ready for when the hard winter sets in! Fingers crossed for some of those bright & dry days when you can get it out on the road again.....

Not measured it but I have more clearance with this than the other engine so won't have any issues.

Dropped my bike can and collector off to a customer of mine to be welded today. Should have it mid week.

Getting closer now.

Going well!

Well done!

We have our engine/box/prop in & mounted, the gearshift extender 'just' clashes with a chassis tube but we'll work a way around that, and we're just doing plumbing, cables etc!

So we're getting on ok too.....

Thanks

Drove 168miles to Scottish Kit Car Centre today to drop off my Westfield.

They are going to

Fit prop
Fit reverse kit
Order me a carbon dash and fit my savage switches
Fit wiring loom
Fit gear change kit
Fit throttle/clutch cable
Get the car running.

Can't wait to get it back already.

Had a poo week, manage to crash my company car, put it on it's side. Made it up to Thurso in the snow and back then crashed 1 mile from my house, luckily uninjured but the car was now, fair bit of damage. Get my new company car which I ordered last year in March so not sure what we are going to do.
