Rear cage to full cage

Has anybody got any idea of price to modify a Fury from running a rear cage to a full cage?

I'm interested in a car but it only has a rear cage and want to make it a full cage so trying to work out any costs into the overall price?

Thanks

If you are talking about taking the car to a roll cage manufacturer/specialist for a cage with side bars etc you will be looking at 1k to 1.2k IMO.

I looked into this and whilst I don't recall the exact pricing think Procomp were able to do it for a fair bit less than that.

However they are very busy so you may have to wait a while

Maybe consider a diagonal bar like a few others have fitted. I think they are called sissy bars.

Gbs do a cage for around £600 you then need to fettle and fit.

Draw out what you want, get tubebender on eBay to bend it up in CDS, maybe £200, less if EWR then find someone local to weld it up £50 -£100

This is lowcost after all

You won't get a front hoop, roof bars and side bars for £200.

Used Tubebender for some of my pieces last winter, side bars and 4 roof bars bent to my spec were nearly £300.

For a full cage to your sizes off Tubebender you are looking circa £600,then if you haven't got a m8 that will weld it up cheap circa £200 for it welded up

It was a while ago when I built my front hoop, 4 bends @ £15 a bend and material was just over £100 so I doubled up, I cut it off when I started sprinting to get rid of the weight and gave away.

Adding side bars and complicating adds cost so get a quote.

I weld so put it together myself.

This is also going to be my winter upgrade on the Indy chassis.

Cut the old rear hoop off, side panels off and fit a new full cage with externally mounted front hoop and side bars

new aero screen and side mirror mounts including all powder coating etc £1500

Would have done it myself but just not got the time these days.

And yes maybe get it done cheaper down in England somewhere but that's 700 mile round trip to Procomp x 2

I had looked at the same question and considered a inside the windscreen solution for my fury, it only has a rear hoop and I feel that something extra would be good insurance.
I spoke to a couple of people and SA Fabrication and motorsport (Mallory Park) said that they would build it into the car for me for a good price - I have yet to take them up on that - need the gearbox back in first
