scale model locost?

has anyone ever built a scale model version of there car?

im thinking of having a go, maybe 1:10th scale?





just because you are a character, doesnt mean you have character....

for all your bespoke parts, ali welding, waterjet, laser, folding, turning, milling, composite work, spraying, anodising and cad drawing....

someone produced an r/c kit of a 7type a number of years ago. Bugging me as to the manufacturer was as i used to work for the distributor, but i know the last ones were sold off pre 2002 so would be rare as hens teeth

I'm thinking of doing it kinda backwards, making the car in miniature first, then building it for real.

Boggle...you have already seen my facebook avatar, so go to my Facebook photos to see some more...

It was originally a yellow R/C Stig/Top Gear R500 sold by Marks and Spencer last year........and yes the R/C still works .... Everything was stripped out, exhaust side swap, a scaled down pic of my actual dash was used, and even my roll cage.......I/we even remodelled the Stig's race gear to be my actual 'colours' .....

Tamiya used to sell a 1/8 one about 20 odd years ago it was a beautiful model but about 400 squids even back then.

Multiplex/ABC Models made a nice one, almost a De dion rear end as well

I wish it was mine, I love teddy's that look like fluffy blue gremlins............. Has just the right effect when sat next to a bowl of worthers original.......

Perhaps a slightly unusual angle of the Epona body and a Locost chassis.
