What did Santa bring you?

First off, Merry Christmas to everyone. Second, what did Santa bring you lot this year?

I was lucky enough to have my father-in-law provide me with a bunch of scrap steel and some welding rods for me to learn with. My first attempt and it looks like a youngling did the job, but it was great to finally give it a shot. Got to see firsthand how much a piece of metal can warp due to too much welding in one area, a couple more passes and it would have come out like a candy cane. My final project so to speak was using a stainless rod and writing my name on a single bar of iron that we then cut in half and I welded my first name above my last name. Also got some new shoes on my tin top which is nice and just a generally great time with my extended family.

Merry Christmas!!!

Beags

I can get away with buyingmy wife almost anything!!!!!!!!
However this year I bottled it and re-labled a present to my-self and not to her as originally planned!!

So I got a new 'Loo-brush'
And also jumpers, backy tin, diary, new back-pack, etc..
Best of all tho was having the grand daughter here.. She was 1 on the 23rd and I think we got carried away with presents for her... But worth it. One of the best Christmas we have had in years.. Even the son and his girl friend said it was one of the best..

Wanted: a lie-in.
Got: woken-up early.
I must be the easiest person to buy for. Anything from Halfords or similar and I'm happy. I got a mug. Which is good as I do drink stuff.

Some slippers and whiskey and a metal puzzle that's driving me up the wall, time for the hacksaw I think.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

A 40 year old Action Man with gripping hands, flocked hair and the all important scar just like the ones I had.......well about 40 years ago! Complete suprise gift from Mrs Beddows but without doubt the best Christmas present I've had for years!

The only slightly weird thing is that it feels like you're holding something that should be in a museum........but I had a new one when I was a little lad..............
