motorbike rear wheel

I`m looking for a motorbike rear wheel to install a wide car tyre. Anyone suggestions where to source such a rim? Idea size would be 18"x11" (does not have to be exactly that).

I`m not looking for a "race look", not "custom look". The wheel should be painted, not chromed. I intend to use the wheel as the single rear wheel of a reverse trike.

Most modern bikes run 17" rears, the custome with really fat tyres tend to be 15 or 16.

You'll easily get a 5.5 - 6" width from a sports / touring bike, the really wide stuff is going to be scarce and expensive.

bike wheel

Hi pete.
I have a Honda vfr 800 wheel in mine but it goes with the single sided swinging arm complete.
Size is 17inch and I think you will find most bikes are 17inch rears.
Some pics in my archive.
Regards Denis.

Where did that go?
