Engine and prop now removed. Very tempting to strip more parts for overhaul.

Must stay focused on the initial plan!

Modified sump now back from AB performance and TRT ready to fit. The photos don't do justice to the amount of work and thought put into this. Also plan to remove the push/pull cable and install a solid gear linkage.

Turbo bolted up, ran up however now have an oil leak on the sump where I welded in the return pipe so that bits got to come off again

Unfortunately the battery has also given up, it's lasted 7 years so cannot really complain.

First drive yesterday and really happy with the mods. 1st to 2nd is now seemless and I can attempt speed bumps without the worry of hacking the sump.

Next job is the rear diffuser.

On top of doing the pedal assembly I also got around to fitting the GSXR 750 airbox modified by Cosmick on here.

Had a shakedown run in cold wet and greasy Knockhill on Saturday.

The feel on the brakes are night and day difference from the sierra MC, actually feels like a brake pedal rather than standing on a lump of stone.

Have to do some more work to the throttle pedal now, its has far to much travel under my foot that it's painful to bend my foot far enough back to get off the throttle, it also lead to a few missed gear changes due not getting far enough off the power to upshift.

With the airbox done it seams to pull much better at the top end and it's noticeably quieter

Yes it bugs me, not worked out how to fix it yet, to be honest though it's only really in the video it annoys me as on track I never look at it anyway, same with the shift lights
