IVA Date!

Well on the 18th of August i will be driving up to Gillingham to do my IVA!!!!
Quite excited so thought i better post up something on here!

Better book the day off work now i guess! Can't decide whether to book a hotel or not - it's about an hour drive from me if there's no traffic, but have to be there for 8am....

In any case, this is a major milestone and feels very real now that i could be driving the thing properly quite soon, and hopefully still catch some of summer!!!!

Good luck with your IVA - it isn't as bad as many make out. On the day I got up very early and arrived 30 mins before the test, I later found out that roadworks closed the road I had just traveled on! I would just start out stupidly early and take a flask of coffee to drink after arrival while waiting for the center to open

Yep, it's actually my second IVA, i did a striker before and stupidly sold it, and then for some stupid reason decided i wanted to go through the process again! Previously went to Yeading but i'd be waiting until September for that one so thought i'd give Gillingham a go... Will be leaving at around 5:30am i think, better dig out the helmet!

Wow.
You've bolted that together quick. Doesn't seem five minutes since I was up there getting my headlights and there was plenty of work to do.
Well done Andy.
I feel sick though as I've hardly done anything new to mine in the same time.

Haha, yeh seems to happen that way, you spend months making shitty brackets and stuff and nothing happens, and then suddenly all kind of comes together.... plug on mate, it'll happen, of course you do actually need to get in the garage first!

Cheers Andy.
That's the problem though. The house is getting right in the way at the moment.

Shame Andy.
Hopefully nothing that can't be overcome too quickly.
