Very exciting day ....

Rolled the car out of the garage today for the first time, bodywork all on, sat in it with the mock up dash, Mountney in hands, pressing my pedals, changing gear, making Vrooming noises - how excellent was that!

Anyway, yours should be on the road by the Summer then?

Cheers chaps, the aim is to be ready in time for Le Mans, if we have no major set-backs we should do it.

you dont seem to have a lot of feedback on the pics yet, so heres one from me.

Looks really good so far!

Once you get the driveline and the exhaust on you will be able to drive it outa the garage rather the roll it.....that would be even better!

Just think, 9 months ago you put a post on here asking if you should build a Robin Hood!

Well done Jasper- an inspiration to those of us who started well before you and are now well behind you!

Cheers,

James

Cheers guys (and Bob!).

Robin Hoods, what the hell are they?!?!?

Next is a little tidy up on the chipped paintwork, then it's onto the electrics and dash.... Wont be starting it for a while though I dont think, lots more to do b4 then. My nice carbon fibre R1 exhaust (only £70!) is with the local blacksmith for a spot of shortening and stainless welding, he's doing my custom rollbar as well.

Wish I'd been at the Staffs show, had to make do with Teddy Bears in Germany instead. Gonna have to make a special trip up to Premier Wiring to get my switches v. soon.
