My Locost

Well I have 3 weeks off work now after saving my leave up and I've managed to push the car out onto the drive now the weather's brightened up. Here are my first pictures. I think there's light at the tunnels end

Looking good!

Rolling the car out is one of the major milestones, and a huge feel-good moment.

Cheers fellas. I was kind of a bit hesitant in posting them I think its because I know about all the 'scruffy' little bits that I'm not totally happy with and the fact that there are some stunning cars being built on here but I reminded myself that I did build it all myself from scratch so there we go. Got to secure the bodywork, finish and tidy the wiring and there's not too much left after that.

There's an old project management saying - the last 10% takes 90% of the time.

Don't under-estimate the time needed for those fiddly little finishing-off bits.

And don't under-estimate what you've achieved already - it's looking very smart.

You're absolutely right about the last bits. I'm having to think and rethink things and stuff keeps playing up but it won't beat me

Yep. Got 3 weeks off. One new bathroom to fit but the rest's for the car and I have most of the bits needed. Just need the neighbour to stop mithering now and let me get on with it
