Just noticed an unrecognised payment on my Mastercard credit card for £103.07.
Telephoned the credit card company and they've cancelled the card and sent a replacement.
They've also refunded the money without any issue.
Very pleased and impressed with their service and the speed at which they dealt with the problem.
mine was even better, i got a text to tell me someone had billed me for the same amount 2 days running, both were declined and new card issued, i didnt even know it was happening...thanks santander
They are pretty good at watching over us
I just had a "card declined" at Sainsburys petrol pumps, despite no problem shopping in Sainsburys minutes before.
Used a different card got home.
Before I had chance to see online if my account had been rinsed, bank had texted me asking me to call their fraud office.
Went through checks etc and they re-instated it.
Reason given: Massive pay at pump thefts with stolen cards.
As mentioned, Id rather have it this way
