New GATSO's in Derbyshire.....

may be worth posting other area's too ???

but anyways, anyone using the Bolsover, Chesterfield road, Beware.....2 brand spanking new ones at Btm of "Ducky" hill, the buggers are hid behind tree's too, thought they was going to put new ones where you could see em........

oh and B4 U ask, no, i spotted em 1st.

whilst on the same subject i know Notts poilce are testing new digital ones too, thing is its no good slowing down for camera then speeding up again, they measure you over two points several miles apart, if at the max speed limit it would take say 3 mins and you arive inside that.....bang ticket....

beware, on motorway bridges in Notts now.

I am in sunny northanptonshire.

They deploy four speed vans here. They can be anywhere anytime. Sometimes over the bridge on the M1 J15.

We have quite a few statics, all marked yellow.

Its only the forces that keep the revenue that have to make them visible.

We also have some of the point to point average speed cams too.

From no cams 3 years ago, we have got just about all that can be thrown at you.

I noticed yesterday that one between thrapston and oundle appears to have been gas axed as the head was missing and the stump was rather rough looking.

I had quite a funny picture of the mess some "rednecks" had made of the only speed camera in Kansas - shotgun practice!!

Damn - can't find it now!

Cheers

Chris

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

lets hope the one that did the oundle cam does a whole lot more.

I got done on the A45 2 years ago by a laser van cam at 200 yards. Doing 71 mph in a 60 section on a 70 road that 1 year before had been 70 all through. I refused to fill in the forms. Didnt admit anything.

They sent the forms back 4 times with all kinda threats. Still sent em back.

A week or two later the northants poluice sent two officers on a 50 mile round trip to where I work to friggin interview me and charge me and convict with failing to provide info. got 180 fine for a 60 quid offence. If you ever thingk of doing this refuse to say anything at interview as all the questions, not suprisingly, put to you are specifically aimed at removing your defence in court. Say nothing in interview - forget the crap in the caution.
