Not bad - still working most of the way to 89. Bloke on the news said that he first performed on the BBC in 1939!

Loved the generation game with him. Proper family fun the way it should be. As was Play your cards right. Sad loss even if recent stuff was a little cringeworthy.

I heard a few good things about him a few months ago - when you went to the recording of one his shows he did all the usual stuff. When the show had ended and recording had stopped he would come back out and chat to the audience for quite a long time. Many people had good feelings about him after receiving that sort of treatment.

Always seemed like one of the good guys RIP

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
