Small car, big engine

Right, If you weren't building a Locost/Indy/Luego etc and chose instead to put a large engine in a small car, strip it to it's bones and uprate the suspension, what would you choose?

Why not a locost

I have a friend who has just started building a 442 chassis with a...are you sitting down...454 cubic inch Big Block Chevy!!!! (thats approx 7.5 ltrs)

I will see if he has pictures yet, last time I checked the top and bottom rails were built and the engine was mocked up in it

Mine would be a Pug 205 with a mid mounted 3.0 V6 driving the rear wheels - similar concept to the V6 Clio

I like your "3dr Nova" Joel

You could have some fun on a saturday night down the local town.
Borrow the wifes make up, paint some "bumfluff" on yer top lip, a few zits,
an' a baseball cap on backwards,

then leave a couple of "darkies" at the traffic lights.

Mark Allanson's reminds me of a car I used to see hillclimbing - a Fiat 500 with a mid mounted supercharged AlfaSud engine. It was road legal and looked standard apart from wheels and small arch extensions.
