What do 1300 x flows sound like?

Every time I see a 7 style kit car, they always have a nice loud exhaust down the side and they always sound really good. If I get a locost I think I'd have to get a 1300 engined version, so do they still sound good?

Yes

Sound is mainly dependant on what exhaust can you fit. A nice carbon bike can should see a little xflow sounding lovely

depends if the engine is running or not. If its not running it sounds like,

"damn you stupid lump of metal"

"work damn you"

"arrgghhh, i'm going to thrash you to within an inch of your life"

"thats it, i quit"

when they run .....

Been there...

A 1300 on twin 40s sounds just as good as any 4 pot on similar carbs....

They have the added benefit that you can drive them flat out absolutely everywhere....

Excellent engine to learn to drive a seven on (IMHO)

i can confirm that a xflow (esp fozzies) sounds better than those tractor like pinto's, especially at idle

nahh

its because of the revs..

the more revs the engine makes, the more explosions per second, sow the higher the tone/sound you could hear..

thats the reason wy an bike engine sounds lovely and an F1 engine like a crying baby...

Tks

Some people prefer the lower throb of a V8 (me!) and a Pinto does sound good but at the end of the day all 7's sound great!

A crossflow will sound about half as good as my V8

Its depends... you can always experiment with pipes and silencers. Get a Quiet one for the SVA, then play afterwards

Cheeky bugger!!!!!! I think my pintosaurus sounds great with 4 branch system on. I have to admit that they are even better still with twin webers.
