If anyone thinks Jason is joking about getting this car on the road in a week or two then think again....!!!!

John, the pressure is on. You now need to take Sweet Pea 2 to Newlands Corner! If you do it's breakfast on me!

Andy - the optomistic one

If you manage that I'll buy you lunch too!

I still reckon three weeks- and that's with 60-70 hours a week on it.

I just pity anyone who's booked their car in for repair at Jon's this month:
"Yes mate, I know we've got your car in pieces but it'll be another 3 weeks till it's done as I have another job on..."

A few cars might be returned with a few bits missing too I suspect. Like Astras for example?

It's given me a thought actually.

Remember that short film BBC used to show of London-Brighton in 3 minutes? It was basically a video camera strapped to the front of a train and played at ultra fast speed.

Perhaps we ought to fit a camera up in Jon's workshop and film the birth of Sweet Pea II. It could then be played at fast speed and it'd be like those wildlife programs where they show plants gowing in about 2 minutes.

And before anyone says it- filming a build and then playing it at ultra slow speed would absolutely *not* be like watching mine being built! OK?!!!

Going to go lie down again...

No, don't be silly- I'm so bored at work that I've slipped so far down the seat I'm lying down as I type!

Unfortunately I can't fall completely asleep as senior management are nosing around.

I've found today that if I put enough boxes and stuff under my desk I can actually be horizontal and quite comfy.
The seat back acts as a headrest!

Could do with a remote mouse/keyboard though- cos arms are getting a bit tired holding them up to desk!

Cheers,

James

I've got a radio controlled keyboard and mouse - handy for when you have too many papers on the desk and don't want to dislodge it all when putting the keyboard on your knees.
(not as much fun as a radio controlled car though!)
